Wale Nubi’s journey into the world of fashion began as a teenager in Nigeria, where he developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and style. Growing up, he inherited a rotation of designer shoes from his older brothers living in London, sparking a fascination with sartorial elegance. Later, Wale joined his brothers in Europe, traveling through fashion-forward cities in the early 2000s. These experiences laid the foundation for his love of tailoring and design.
Before fully immersing himself in the fashion industry, Wale carved out a successful career as an IT consultant for Fortune 500 companies. However, his entrepreneurial spirit couldn’t be contained. While working in the U.S., he pursued his passion on the side, selling shoes from the trunk of his car. When the time was right, Wale made the bold decision to turn his side hustle into a full-time career, dedicating himself to bringing bespoke fashion to life.
Wale’s work has not gone unnoticed. He has been featured in Forbes, FOX Television, ABC 7, and Modern Luxury CS Magazine, where he was celebrated as a “Man On The Move.” Through Jojayden, Wale continues to redefine menswear, blending timeless craftsmanship with a personal touch that leaves an indelible mark on every client.
The team is growing and the business has just expanded and with a new store in Houston in 2024.
